all about me.

I’m Lauren, welcome to my Middle Earth!

I’m a mother, a teacher of movement practices, a seeker of connection and stories, a yogi connecting to the divine, and I’m also walking the grieving path.

Over the years, my studies have deepened my understanding of the divine connection between body and mind—they are never separate, intertwined through the soul, breath, and self.

With over 500 hours of training, I integrate these teachings into my life every day, creating a beautiful web that weaves through every thought and action.

My work has evolved over time, from holding moon ceremonies and sharing circles to diving deeper into somatic practices, sacred mantra, and the awakening of kundalini shakti energy—practices that enliven and elevate our sense of self.

Losing my brother, Kyle, and my godfather, Karl, has been my greatest teacher. Their passing has transformed how I hold space for others, not just in my classes and workshops but in every aspect of my life. People often feel drawn to share their grief with me, and I consider it an honor. Though yoga was in my life long before my grief journey began, it was the anchor that led me to teach.

My areas of focus include Kundalini, embodiment, somatic practice, sound as energy, body-mind centering, and tantra—deeply inspired by teachers such as Satu Tuomela, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Scott Lyons, and Kavitha Chinnaiyan.

Join me in finding the Grace in Grief at INSPIRIT, our yoga and wellness studio in Tadlow. We offer movement, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and more.

My Approach

My yoga practice evolved from a simple love of physical movement into my greatest healer after the loss of my wonderful brother Kyle in a motorcycle accident in July 2018. During one of the toughest times in my life, yoga became my refuge. It gave me an hour of solace amidst the whirlwind of grief, and it helped me process my emotions, find peace, and even sleep again.

This beautiful practice continues to teach me so much about myself and others. Many people feel they can’t attend a class because they’re not flexible or fit enough, but yoga is for every body. It’s not about fitting a certain mold—it’s about meeting yourself where you are and embracing the journey of healing.

My journey to sound healing felt like a calling from the universe. One day, everything just clicked, and I knew I had to become part of this incredible healing community. Sound healing is a powerful and transformative practice that uses frequencies to promote deep relaxation, soothe the nervous system, and facilitate emotional and energetic shifts.

I’m incredibly proud to offer this modality, using Crystal Tones Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Drums, Chimes, Tuning Forks, and many other instruments to create a truly healing experience.

my teaching style

My biggest inspiration isn’t just my students—it’s also the power of music. If you’ve been to one of my classes, you know how much I love creating playlists. Often, I start with the music before creating the sequence for class. For me, the music leads, and everything else flows from there. It becomes a ceremony in itself, setting the tone and energy of the entire practice.

In my classes, I encourage individuality, emphasizing what you can feel rather than what the poses look like. I guide students to move with intention, listening to their own bodies’ wisdom. I often cue moments of free flow within the structure of the class, inviting you to dive deeper into your own embodied experience.

As a Sound Healing Practitioner, I believe sound is one of the most powerful healing tools we have right now. The frequencies help to restore balance, soothe the nervous system, and facilitate deep emotional healing. Sound is a vital, collective form of healing, and it’s a central part of my offerings.
